An Ode to Spicy Foods and a Recipe for Sriracha Mayonnaise

An Ode to Spicy Foods

Heat is sweet and really neat
In tacos sold upon the street
In tender, juicy, slow-cooked meat

To cook with it is no great feat

In sandwiches it is a treat
Without it, food is not complete
In dessert it's good, a bit offbeat

And when consumed I feel replete!
And when it's gone I feel defeat

So add that heat! Don't be discreet!
Just spice it up, and eat, eat, eat!

Sriracha Mayonnaise
Makes 1/2 cup

This recipe goes great with virtually anything.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sriracha sauce

1. Mix the mayonnaise and sriracha in a small bowl.
